One shot that I had always wanted to get of a ND&W train was up on the Krouse Road overpass. I was finally able to successfully get that shot today. The two "nose-in" units continue west with their cut of cars for Cecil and Woodburn. |

The other engineer on the crew hops onto the ATSF unit and pulls it onto the Lafarge Spur. PREX 2045 would then back into the cars and pull forward on the main. Meaning, there would be long hood forward units leading both trains their respective trains when they were done switching in Cecil... I feel like they did this to upset me on purpose, but probably not. |

While I would have preferred a short hood forward chase, I will take what I got. It was a really good day of chasing on the ND&W, and probably will be the last time I chase the GP20us before they begin to be phased out. |
