Album Info:Here are 14 portraits of Pennsylvania Railroad miscellanea: electric locomotives, "Doodlebugs," commuter cars, and passenger cars. Most of them come from 2.75" x 4.50" photos that I purchased in a single eBay auction conducted by Mr. Nathan Dahms on Tuesday, 19 January 2021. All of the passenger car photos are gifts from Nathan, received on 22 December 2022. The photographer's name, the road number(s), the exact date, and the location are cited when available.

Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1, an FF-2 (1-C-C-1) electric built by the American Locomotive Company for the Great Northern Railroad as number "5010" in October of 1927, acquired by the PRR and renumbered "1" in August of 1956, and retired in April of 1965 after 38 years of faithful service. Description:  DMP-1. Here is an electric locomotive portrait by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, during August of 1957. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4, an FF-2 (1-C-C-1) electric built by the American Locomotive Company for the Great Northern Railroad as number "5014" in March of 1930, acquired by the PRR and renumbered "4" in August of 1956, and retired in June of 1960 after 30 years of faithful service. In this context, it's parked under the 17th Bridge in Juniata after being refitted and repainted before assuming its helper/pusher role at Thorndale. (#2 of 14)

Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4743 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are P-5A electrics rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4743 is a P-5A (Modified) built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in February of 1935 and retired in March of 1962 after 27 years of faithful service.
