Nice original Lima Locomotive Works builder's photo of the massive and powerful but sleek 2-6-6-6 Allegheny type steam locomotive built in December of 1941 for the Chesapeake & Ohio RR. H-8 class, 67" drivers, impressive 260 psi boiler pressure, 22.5x33" cylinders, engine weight of 771,300 lb, massive tractive effort of 110,211 lb. The class was scrapped between 1952-56.
