Sunny Monday, no boats on the canal, so it's a quick roll by at the GIO and CP yards. Never in the long glorious history of locomotives has there ever been a consist like this one. With cabless slug 269 in the lead! Followed by two newer GIO switchers 7224 and 7920, bright red JCLX GP35 3502, plus deadline Illinois Central Dash-8 2462, CN Dash-8 2019, 2 Draper Taper Dash-8s - one BC Rail, one CN, plus another CN Dash-8. And behind all that diesel-dazzle? A caboose and a box car. |
