Description:
Alexandria Gravel Co. 2-6-2 No. 8 was built as Pearl River Lumber Co. No. 8 in July 1905, and then became Great Southern Lumber Co. No. 8, before migrating to central Louisiana as Alexandria Gravel Co. No. 8. The locomotive was built as Baldwin serial number 26055 with 17x24 cylinders and 45-inch drivers.
