HCRR SW8m #8693 - Honey Creek RR |
Description: |
This little yard switcher is Honey Creek RR SW8m #8693 owned by Morristown Grain. An unidentified Hoosier rail fan found it by the Morristwon Grainery where it spends its time shuffling grain hoppers to and from the elevator. Built by EMD in August of 1951 originally as DLW SW8 #504, it became EL 364, and then CR 8693. The Conrail blue still shines on the body. |
