| Forty years ago, sights like this were common, and trailers of all sizes were on every intermodal train. With the advent of stacked containers in the mid 1980s, and their rapid growth as the economics proved themselves, sights like this became more and more uncommon. Out west, they are holding on, some UPS and ABF pups riding south on the Greeley Sub. |
