Southern Crescent
About eight minutes after its 7:00 A.M. departure from New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal, the northbound SOUTHERN CRESCENT approaches Carrollton Junction, where the NOUPT Eastern and Western Connections diverge. The paved area between the tracks had been one of the two platforms for Carrollton Avenue Station. (date approximate)
