WECX 1002 is the prototype Peacekeeper Rail Garrison car which was built to carry and launch a single, nuclear-tipped LGM-118A Peacekeeper Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile. It was the first of what was to become a fleet of 50, but never completed due to termination of the program in 1991.
