Columbus Wisconsin, looking west. Originally on the Milwaukee Road and 150 miles west of Chicago. As of 1950 the town saw 14 passenger trains a day run through town on the line's speedway to Minneapolis. Only five were scheduled to stop though- the rest probably running by at speed. The town is now on the CP; Amtrak calls here twice a day. |
