| The Jacksonville-Baldwin railtrail is the former ACL route that once saw the posh St Petersburg section of the "West Coast Champion" CSX freight is on the old Seaboard Gross Cut-off that ran from Gross, FL near the FL/GA line (where I-95 crosses US 17 basically) to Baldwin, FL providing SAL a great bypass around Jacksonvile. Nowdays, CSX just refers to this as the Callahan sub, but I still call this the "Gross Cut-off" as intended. |
