This series of photos was taken in Wilmington, OH on the B&O's line between Washington Court House and Midland City. This view looks more or less northeast; the automobile crossing the track in the distance is driving south on Grant Street, and several of the buildings in the background still exist and are identifiable in Google Maps Street View. The date is likely sometime around 1968-1970; two of the locomotives involved were built in late 1966, and there is a 1967 Chevrolet visible in another view. The DOT database of railroad accident investigations has no information about this incident, suggesting that no one was killed or seriously injured.
