12 days earlier (11/5/2011), Swift Mill was the site of a major fire that destroyed the former plant. The haze in the photo is actually smoke arising from the smoldering ashes from the building remains between the two towers          
Due to the tracks being blocked by debris from the mill fire, trains were routed around the yard by using the tracks along the site of the engine facility on the left. A number of leads on the east end of the yard are rusty from not being used since the night of the fire. Columbus Yard's tower is just out of sight around the curve on the right.
