NJTR 4124
Opened in 1907, NJ Transits Hoboken Terminal is a busy place with a very ecclectic mix of equipment: Commuter trains powered by diesel-electric locomotives and electric locomotives powered by overhead catenary, Hudson-Bergen light rail trolleys and the Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) subway to Manhattan. Locomotives built by EMD, Alstom and Bombardier can all be found here, and many of the EMD units have been rebuilt by other companies. And, as might be expected of a terminal this busy, there is a maze of trackwork (as seen here) needed to manage all the daily train movements!
