CNJ 4-4-2 592 "Atlantic Camelback" - Central Railroad of New Jersey  Contributor's Pick!
With a larger firebox than current locomotives to burn anthracite coal, the engineer's cab was forced to sit on the side of the boiler. Besides being called a "camelback" the New Jersey railroad also labeled them "Mother Hubbard" while B&O called them "Snapper". Unbelievably fast, they could reach speeds of 90 MPH! Wish Amtrak would look into them!!!!
