| The signal is green and the semaphore signals indicate clear as an excursion train heads west to downtown Monticello, IL. I was standing on the open-air flatcar when I took this photo--one of my personal favorites! I hope you like this one, too. My Dad was an "operator" for several years, handing up train orders and inspecting trains much like this volunteer is doing as the train rolls along. |
