| A view looking railroad "west" along the former Soo Line R.o.W. from Hughes Street. Hughes Street crossed the rails via an overpass until sometime in the late 1990's or early 2000's. This is now just an at grade crossing, and the line is nowhere near as busy. This piece of former mainline through Wisconsin for the Soo and the Wisconsin Central is now the end of a branch with a few customers. This former Soo yard is now a rail load facility for the CN and Oshkosh Corporation, though not much ships from here. |
