| Several friends and I rode the Lake Shore to Toledo, changed there to the Lake Cities, a Toledo-Detroit-Chicago connection, to get the mileage through Michigan. The train ran push-pull to eliminate the need to run around at Detroit. The cab car trailed on the Detroit-Chicago segment, allowing us to look out the rear.
