Downtown Brownsville 1960s Postcard
Upon careful examination, the Brownsville terminal tracks and train sheds can be found in the upper right of this pix. There is even a train that appears to be split in half near the original Brownsville Depot. The photo is believed to be from the 1960s; which is plausible since Mo-Pac's Valley Eagle was discontinued 6-30-62. A nightly mail train (Pioneer) continued to operate to Houston until 3-15-66. Unknown when the tracks and downtown stations were torn down and removed.
