| Yard Power. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad yard locomotive at Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 02 August 1960. Shown here is PRR engine #9394, an ES-12 built by EMD in 1950 and rated at 1,200 horsepower. It is "flat humping" a string of freight cars in the Yard. This photo was taken just west of the Jones Street crossing, along South Juniata Street. |
