Ted Brumberg General Car is actually of MKT heritage. There were a total of three of these coaches, from the MKT #640-series, that were on the White Mountain Scenic before they moved to California. 2 of the 3 (#642 and #644) are now at the California State RR Museum, and are used on their "Sacramento Southern" excursions. This third car instead ended up in Colfax; its MKT #640-series number is (currently) unknown. These cars were built by American Car & Foundry in 1923. 1/10/2025 5:09:41 AM
