Hollidaysburg. Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, perhaps in 1955. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #473, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during April of 1917 and retired in June of 1959 after 42 years of faithful service. It is shifting a string of gondolas at the Jones Street Crossing on a snowy winter's day. The western end of the PRR's newly-opened Samuel Rea Shop is visible in the distance.
