Photo Caption: "Four head-end diesels and two pushers speed this eastbound freight up mainline grade near Pittsburgh. Schedules are planned for reliability." The caption for these photos leads one to assume that they are of the same train . . . but how can the same train occupy two different tracks at the same time? The location is an approximation. |
