Tom Beckett General Amazing to think of it now, how much freight was on the LIRR in those days. Now, there's not much left, especially on the branches. I can't imagine freight on the West Hempstead Branch, or Oyster Bay. By the 80's, it had pretty much dried up. How about that spanking clean Railbox!! 9/3/2024 6:20:31 AM
