PRR 5244, B-6SB, 1957
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., taken in New Egypt, New Jersey, on 24 June 1957. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5244, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during February of 1916 and retired on 15 July 1959 after 43 years of service. In this context, it's shifting cars near the New Egypt Freight Station. Also visible are PRR N-6B cabin car #982186 at the left and New York Central boxcar #36125 at the right. ("Stoneborobranch"; #1 of 3)
