Meadows. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine Service Tracks at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey, on 27 December 1957. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is PRR engine #5771, a BP-20 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in June of 1948, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and retired in May of 1965 after just 17 years of revenue service. It's coupled with one of the PRR's wire-maintenance cars. ("Stoneborobranch"; #23 of 32)
