Great looking roster shot of this Pennsylvania Power & Light 0-6-0 fireless cooker #4093 on display in Jim Thorpe, PA. Built by Porter in August of 1943 (serial #7442), it served until retirement and has been bouncing around somewhat. Currently it appears to be in Tamaqua, PA, as of at least 2012. It was painted with Reddy Killowatt face on the front but may have been restored to the original black paint sometime after 2012. There are two groups of reporting marks for this loco in the RRPA data base - an official PPLX and unofficial PPL. I have listed both so they can be cross-checked. |
