Robert Hess	General	The lead engine is an I1s/I1sa - you can just see the large pilot-mounted air tank behing the cabin car. It also has the typical flat sided 90F82 tender originally appplied to all 598 engines in that class. The second engine is an M1a with twin air pumps and hot water pump for the feedwater heater mounted below the running board in front of the air pumps.	5/19/2022 10:45:37 PM

PRR East Slope Pushers, 1940
Here is a photo by H.W. Pontin via Rail Photo Service that was taken at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, in July of 1940. Shown here is a pair of unidentified Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotives. In this context, they're passing the Kittanning Point Station with a manifest freight train that's rounding the Curve on its way up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West.
