| This car was originally built by Pullman-Standard as Louisville & Nashville buffet/observation car #3301, Royal Street. From an online source "In 1954 the two L&N cars, 3300 ROYAL CANAL and this one, were reassigned from the Crescent to the Gulf Wind and remained on that train until 1966. Both were withdrawn from lease to Pullman on 23 October 1968, retired in 1970 and sold to equipment dealer Preston Duffy. Royal Canal was scrapped after a fire, but Royal Street went into private ownership" |
