Unfortunately after this photo was taken, the loco only has a few more months of service before it is retired.Built built Baldwin in September of 1922 as MILW 8319, the loco was later renumbered in June of 1938 to MILW 419. The loco was retired and scrapped in November of 1954 after 32 years of service. Specs - class L-2b, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine wt of 292,770 lb, tractive effort of 54,723 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
