How much horsepower is there?

I recall the G's as being rated for 4600 HP, so this would represent 23,000 HP. Pennsy and later PC would run them in sets of three if they had enough freight, though in later years, that was probably more as insurance against lack of maintenance than pure power. Still, looked pretty impressive rolling through Metuchen. The Sunnyside motor pit was always an interesting place. PC was still using B class 0-6-0 electrics to switch the yard then.
