Description:  Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly. Shown here is Penn Central Railroad engine #4627, a P2b (2-C-C-2) electric built by the American Locomotive Company & General Electric originally for the New York Central's electrified tracks between Croton-Harmon Station and Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Electric Railroading ~ Penn Central and Pennsylvania Lines" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (868-30).
