All are EP-20's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #5873 was built in April of 1949. In this context, this A-B-A set is rockin' 'n' rollin' with a westbound mail and express train. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5705 and #5873. Both were built by GM-EMD. #5705 is an EP-22 built in September of 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower, while #5873 is an EP-20 constructed in April of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower.
