Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #7095, #7203, and #7243. All are EFS-17M road switchers built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7095 was constructed in November of 1956, #7203 in November of 1957, and #7243 in October of 1959. In this context, they're pulling a mixed-cargo freight train under the 4th Street Footbridge on its way up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. |

Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #8436 and #7095. #8436 is an AS-16M built by the American Locomotive Company in November of 1953 and rated at 1,600 horsepower. #7095 is an EFS-17M built by GM-EMD in November of 1956 and rated at 1,750 horsepower.
