| 8.10.2023. AMTK 326 Charger ALC-42 and AMTK 181 behind it waiting to lead the southbound City of New Orleans. Those of us traveling with scanners were to later discover the two main headlights beneath the windshield on this motor would not operate. We made it as far as Wildwood before Amtrak was able to put the 181 as lead engine. Th process took an agonizing 1.5 hours. |
